Directions to The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin
Chappaqua, New York
The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is located at 191 South Greeley Avenue between the Bell Middle School and the New Castle Library. We're just across the street from the lighted recreation field in the center of the hamlet of Chappaqua. The Parish Hall is the long building at the top of the hill behind the church and has a red door.
Driving Directions:
From South (Briarcliff Manor, Pleasantville, etc.)
- Saw Mill River Parkway North to Rte. 120 - Chappaqua exit
- Quick left under parkway
- Left again at light (50 yards)
- Go over Rail Road Bridge
- Bear right at Flagpole fork and go south on South Greeley Ave.
- After blinking yellow light the Church is the first left, just beyond Bell Middle School and across from ball field, you can park across from the church if there is space.
- You can also park in the lot at the blinking yellow light
From East (Connecticut)
- I 95 W to 684 N. to Rte. 120 N (exit for Westchester County Airport)
- Left at light onto Rte. 120 N
- Proceed about 5 miles to intersection - Rtes. 120 & 117 (light with Mobile Gas Station on left, firehouse on right), turn right and make a quick left at next light continuing down Rte. 120/King St. leaving Grand Union to your right
- Left turn at bottom of hill and onto South Greeley Ave.
- Go South on South Greeley Ave.
- Church is about 200 yards on left, just beyond Bell Middle School and across from ball field
From North (Putnam)
- Saw Mill River Parkway to Rte. 120 - Chappaqua Exit (2 miles beyond Readers Digest light)
- Turn right off exit, bear right to Rte. 120
- Then right at light onto Rte. 120
- Go over Rail Road Bridge
- Bear right at Flagpole fork and go south on South Greeley Ave.
- Church on left, just beyond Bell Middle School and across from ball field
From West (New Jersey)
- Tappan Zee Bridge to 287 E. to Saw Mill River Parkway North to Chappaqua Exit.
- Quick left under parkway
- Left again at light (50 yards)
- Go over Rail Road Bridge
- Bear right at Flagpole fork and go south on South Greeley Ave.
- Church on left, just beyond Bell Middle School and across from ball field
From South (New York City)
- Westside Drive North to Hudson Parkway to Saw Mill River Parkway North to Rte. 120 - Chappaqua exit (about 40 miles)
- Quick left under parkway
- Left again at light (50 yards)
- Go over Rail Road Bridge
- Bear right at Flagpole fork and go south on South Greeley Ave.
- Church on left, just beyond Bell Middle School and across from ball field
