Misdiagnosis And Dual Diagnoses Of Gifted Children And Adults

This just released book is written by some of the foremost authorities in gifted children. Often times gifted children are misdiagnosed with disorders such as ADD, Aspergers, Anxiety and Mood disorders. Other times many gifted children also do have learning disabilities (often termed twice exceptional).  How do we know whether our children have a learning disability or are just exhibiting characteristics of a gifted child?  This book covers all the aspects of what behaviors are to be expected in a gifted child, and which are really learning disabilities, or both.
