At The Bright Kids Resource, Inc., we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. Q. Do I have to be a member to join an event?
A. No! Anyone can join an event! You just pay non-member prices. As a member you get discounts to our all of our events.
Q. How do I join an event?
A. You have to fill out an Annual Registration Form and a Payment Form, send it in with your payment (checks only please) to our address. The annual registration form is done once a year to gather current contact information. A payment form is required for each separate event, whether it is children’s events or parent events. These forms can be found on the specific web page that describes the event. You must submit a payment form with payment to reserve a place for your child! Parenting Bright Kids Teas only require an RSVP.
Q. Are you associated with the church where you hold your sessions?
A. No! We are not part of the church where we hold our sessions. We are an independent organization that has no affiliation with any religious organization.
Q. Where are your events held?
A. Most of our events are held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Chappaqua, other events are held in the close proximity to Briarcliff Manor or are within Westchester.
Q. How much does membership cost?
A. Membership is $50 per year for the entire family, there are discounts for all our events as well as priority placement for reserving a seat. Other benefits include:
- Free Parenting Bright Kids Coffee/Teas with other parents of gifted children.
- Discounts on Thinking Fun Sessions
- Discounts on Parenting Bright Kids guest lectures and group discussion workshops.
- Discounts and participation in field trips to fun destinations
- Priority registration for Thinking Fun Sessions and Parenting Bright Kids Workshops.
Q. How do I become a member?
A. You can be a member by filling out a membership form and payment to our mail address.
Q. How much are your events?
A. Thinking Fun Sessions have small class sizes and are taught by educators with university degrees in their subject or are experienced teachers. This provides the optimum environment for a bright child to have fun while expanding their minds. Each session is $45.00 per child for non-members and $40.00 per child for members.
Parenting Bright Kids Teas are casual get togethers where parents of bright children can get to know each other and share experiences and support. These are held monthly and are $5.00 per person for a non-member and FREE for members.
Other events vary in price, but all events are discounted for members.
