Dear BKR Parents,

After three years of initial introduction to the public, I am now in the position of having to re-visit the approach of what the business is providing.  While we have had good success with the Thinking Fun Sessions with children who love the classes and extremely enthusiastic parents, we have not had enough volume of students to keep this program going.  I would like to continue the offering services to bright children and their families since I do believe we offer a service that is needed.   At this three year mark, we have not been able to generate enough participation to make the business run without a loss. 

For now, I will be suspending all programs for the next year until I can find another viable way to provide these services and have the business be self-sustaining.  I will continue to maintain the website and develop some offerings there, so check in and visit us online. 

I am currently entertaining any interest from teachers or institutions that would like to purchase the Thinking Fun Session curriculum.

The Bright Kid Fun Factor
The Bright Kids Resource provides a convenient way for parents to provide their children resources to enrich their minds and create brain excitement in everything they do. Unlike other children programs, BKR programs are designed to show children why things happen and how things work.   BKR hands on projects use high quality materials that realistically demonstrate concepts and encourage exploration.  Children find excitement and fun in using their brains without realizing they are having fun learning, that is the Bright Kid Fun Factor.

Thinking Fun Sessions are Bright Kid Adventures that are held after school and during school holidays to provide children a fun way to spend their out of school time.  Our sessions help kids expand their minds.  Children naturally love to discover, to explore and use their developing intellect to learn exciting new things.  Cultivating that love of learning gives a child a life skill that builds brain power.   Children are naturally attracted to figuring things out; How does this work? Why does it do that? Can I make it happen?   Children are taught what they are required to learn but they aren’t always allowed to discover things that interest them.  Thinking Fun Sessions give children the opportunity to explore, discover, create and find exciting new things.   These sessions and events give children things that are interesting; things that are fun and are intellectually captivating.  Thinking Fun Sessions encourage curiosity and to answer the question: Why? The children are the “doers”, the creators and the explorers of the knowledge they discover.  Here kids get to exercise their minds and experience discovery and exploration.  We extensively research all of our session topics and find the most fascinating and thought provoking ideas and subjects to present.  The deep knowledge we impart in each topic appeals to children of all ages.  Even parents love to sit in on our sessions and enjoy them along with their children!  All sessions have that Bright Kid Fun Factor.

Thinking Fun Sessions are recreation for your mind.  It’s about thinking fun, where the fun is in the thinking! All session are designed for Elementary through Middle School.

BKR presenters have a deep knowledge of their topic,  teachers who love to impart knowledge to others and who have tremendous excitement for what they're teaching.  BKR  events are also customized for bright children and have the “bright kid fun factor” that expands kid’s minds.

• Medieval Illuminations - paint with gem stones, gold and eggs!
   
• Medieval Banquet Cooking - what did King Henry VIII eat? no it wasn’t turkey legs!
